The vuvuzela is a type of horn that was popularized at sporting events over the past twenty years.
They are slightly more than two feet in length.
Some modern versions are collapsible for easy transport.
Contrary to the impression that you may obtain at sporting events, the vuvuzela is a musical instrument that is capable of producing many different pitches.
The instrument pictured on this page was purchased in the mid 1980s.
